ECC is proud of our very active Mission Outreach Committee and the generous support and involvement by all our members in service work. No cause is too small, no effort too great . . .whether helping neighbors in need through a church-sponsored household goods drive or supporting a large international relief effort to help victims of disaster halfway around the world.
We believe that Chris calls us to be nothing less than global citizens, that the social expression of love is justice, and that spiritual concerns are inseparable from commitment to the natural world.
Community - The Ties That Bind
ECC has a rich history of community spirit, as seen through its numerous events and activities - enjoyed not just by church members but friends and neighbors in Grafton and the surrounding communities. ECC's annual Apple Pie Social & Harvest Fair has drawn large crowds as a major town event for more than 25 years.
The church also hosts numerous other social events, such as dinners, hikes, baseball outings and ski trips, to celebrate the spirit of community both within the church and outside its walls. Special projects like the Grafton Thrift Shop and Apple Tree Arts also serve and enrich a much broader, surrounding community.
